Feature videos

A feature video shows your app actually working: real screens, real transitions, in the order someone would meet them. It is the walkthrough — for a launch post, a docs page, an investor update, or a sales demo.

Why it looks real

Given your source, your agent rebuilds the screens — the same colors, type, icons, and copy — and Reely drives that rebuild with the app’s own animations. Nothing is faked frame by frame, so pushes, sheets, and springs move exactly as they do on device.

The rebuild also removes the things that ruin a take: network waits, spinners, empty states, and stale data. Every screen is settled before the camera rolls. To hold it to the real thing, see Accuracy.

Source is not required. Screenshots or a screen recording work too — Reely builds the video around what you give it. Source just buys you real motion instead of stills.

What you can steer

LeverAsk for it like
The flow“Skip the permission screen, hold on the receipt.”
Captions“Add captions in our own font.”
Branding“Brand it from our app.”
Canvas“Make it 9:16 for Stories.”
The phone“Put it on a 3D iPhone 17 Pro.”
Camera“Punch in on each tap, gently.”
Transitions“Use a push between screens.”
Sound“Put our track under it.”

Changing it

Say what is off and ask again. Most changes are a fast re-render of the recording you already have — only changes to the flow itself (different screens, different order, different pacing) need a new one.

Put it inside a teaser

The strongest launch videos are both: a teaser’s copy and motion, with a phone that plays the real recorded feature instead of a static screenshot.
