iPhone 18 Pro (6.3-inch) and iPhone 18 Pro Max (6.9-inch) today. The foldable iPhone Duo is added the moment Apple publishes a frame for it — its 7.6-inch inner display is a new shape no existing frame matches. Apple announced only those three phones on 9 September 2026; the standard iPhone 18, iPhone 18e and a second iPhone Air are widely expected in spring 2027 but were not announced.

iPhone 18 Pro: 6.3-inch OLED at 2622 × 1206 pixels, 460 ppi. iPhone 18 Pro Max: 6.9-inch OLED at 2868 × 1320 pixels, 460 ppi. Both run ProMotion up to 120 Hz and reach 3000 nits outdoors. The resolutions are unchanged from the 17 Pro generation, so existing screenshots and App Store assets carry over. The Dynamic Island is smaller and now shows three Live Activities at once.

The iPhone Duo opens to a 7.6-inch folding OLED at 2670 × 1878 pixels (430 ppi) — about 50 percent more screen than the 18 Pro Max — and closes to a 5.4-inch outer display at 2034 × 1398 pixels (460 ppi). It is 5.2 mm thin open and 11.3 mm closed, weighs 254 g, comes in Star White and Night Sky, and uses Touch ID in the side button rather than Face ID.

iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max: pre-orders open Saturday 12 September 2026 at 5 a.m. PT, on sale Friday 18 September, from $1,199 and $1,299 with 256 GB. iPhone Duo: pre-orders 16 October, on sale 23 October, from $1,999. Every model tops out at 2 TB.

Not yet. Apple ships its design resources days to weeks after the keynote. Because the iPhone 18 Pro keeps the iPhone 17 Pro body — the same 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch panels and the same 8.75 mm depth — the preview composites on the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max frames, so the screen opening and proportions are right and only the finishes are last year’s. The genuine artwork and the four new colours land here the week they exist.

Black, Silver, Glacier and Burgundy, on both the Pro and the Pro Max. Apple says the aluminium back and the Ceramic Shield glass are more closely colour-matched this year. The generator only offers a finish once a supplied frame exists for it, so it never tints one colour to fake another.

The 6.9-inch slot is unchanged at 1320 × 2868 pixels, since the Pro Max resolution did not move.
