Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Reely (“we”, “us”) collects and how we use it. We aim to collect as little as possible.

1. What we collect

• Purchase & account data. When you buy Reely, our Merchant of Record Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email, and payment details to process the order. We receive your email and order details to deliver your license key and provide support.
• License activation data. To enforce per-license activation limits, Reely sends your license key and a machine identifier to our licensing provider when you activate or deactivate a device.
• Website analytics. When analytics is enabled, our website uses Mixpanel to measure visits and interactions such as navigation, downloads, checkout clicks, FAQ opens, and section reach. Mixpanel uses a pseudonymous browser identifier and may record privacy-masked session replays so we can understand where the site is confusing. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not send your source code, app content, or reel footage to Mixpanel.

2. What we do NOT collect

Reely processes your recordings locally on your Mac. The videos you create, your source code, your app, and your screen content are never uploaded to us or to any third party. We have no access to them.

3. How we use data

• to deliver your purchase, license key, and updates;
• to validate license activations and enforce activation limits;
• to provide customer support; and
• to comply with legal and tax obligations.

4. Payment processing

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. We do not store your full payment-card details. Lemon Squeezy’s handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run Reely (payment processing, license validation, and website analytics), and only as necessary.

6. Data retention

We keep purchase and license records as long as needed to support your license and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to records we must retain by law.

7. International transfers

Our service providers (including Lemon Squeezy, Mixpanel, and our licensing provider) may process data in the United States, so your data may be transferred there. These transfers are handled using the safeguards required by applicable law.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data - including under the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA (California) - such as the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below; we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

9. Children’s privacy

Reely is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
