The canvas is the shape of the finished file. Pick it by where the video is going — it changes composition, not just crop.

## What changes with the shape

- **Vertical** keeps the phone tall and centered, with canvas above and below for captions.
- **Horizontal** centers the portrait phone on a wide canvas and gives you real margin either side — which is where captions go, beside the phone rather than under it.
- **Native** is the recording’s own size with padding around it: the tightest crop, the least room for copy.
